This online Hybrid EMT course emphasizes the development of student skills in a patient assessment-based program. By the end of the course, each student will be proficient in recognition of signs and symptoms regarding illness or injury and the proper procedures when rendering emergency care to the sick or injured. Students will be required to complete 32 hours of internships.

Upon successful completion of this program, the participant should be able to:

  • Demonstrate and understand the overall roles and responsibilities of the EMT in performing both emergency medical care and operational aspect of the profession.
  • Demonstrate skill in the usage of all equipment required to deliver emergency care to the sick and injured.
  • Demonstrate a proper and thorough patient assessment.
  • Demonstrate critical decision making.
  • Display techniques of maintaining personal, crew, and patient safety.
  • Demonstrate elements of an appropriate patient transfer.

This course is designed to provide giudelines and resources to adjunct instructors to assist in successful outcomes in the classroom.

This course provides an overall review of the most current phlebotomy practices and procedures with an emphasis on the most important competencies in the field.  We provide a variety of lecture, discussion, lab exercises and exams to give our students adequate preparation for the national certification exam.  There will be lab time and 120 hours of clinical time to provide you with the opportunity to become skilled and gain confidence to work as a phlebotomist.

Customer Service Skills are valuable for every employee; especially employees that interact with customers daily. Without these skills, a business can lose customers as well as a risk of embarrassment. There are a few universal skills that every supporting member should learn that will improve their interaction with customers.

Businesses need to focus less on whether the person is a "people person" and more on actual actions that will support outstanding customer service. Taking the generic and vague actions out of training and give your employees actionable tasks to help them communicate effectively with the customer. 


About this course: Finance is for “Non-financial Managers” for those who want to understand important financial principles and apply them in a real-world context. Who is this class for: This course is for professionals within functional areas who have limited knowledge and/or experience with finance and who need to enhance their financial knowledge. Financial knowledge allows managers and leaders to ask more meaningful questions, to assess the financial implications of decisions, and to be better equipped to make informed strategic choices. This program is for working professionals who prefer the flexibility of an online program or who cannot dedicate time to an on-campus program. Participants should have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and understand basic financial calculations.

This course will present the skills needed to successfully use Microsoft Office and other common computer applications.  These skills will allow the student to successfully use today's computer technology and apply learned skills in a workplace setting and also prepare them for continuing their education in today’s digital learning environment. This course will introduce common computer tasks for file systems, data backup, and computer security as well as desktop publishing, website creation, email, and social media communication.

Learn the technical skills and industry know-how to  begin a career installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer networks.
